Speed Up Your Mozilla Firefox Browser

Start Mozilla Firefox and do the following:

Open a new tab in Firefox and type “about:config” in your address bar.
    In the “Filter:” search-box, type “network.http” .
Look for the “network.http.keep-alive” setting and make sure it’s set to “true”. Change it to true if needed.
On the same page, look for “network.http.version” and set to “1.1
Clear out the Filter box and type “pipelining”
Look for “network.http.pipelining” Right-click on that line, and click on “toggle” and set the value to “true”.
If you’re on a proxy, look for “network.http.proxy.pipelining” Right-click on that line, and click on “toggle” and set the value to “true”.
Look for “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” Right-click on that line, click “modify” and set the value to 8. If you notice your internet is acting weird after this, try decreasing this value.

That is all! But why does this speed up Firefox? That is easy, you have increased the number of asynchronous calls that Firefox can make to obtain information from a web page. So content from the website will be faster downloaded to your machine.

    1) In your location bar, type :
    Code:

    about:config

    2) In the filter bar type :
    Code:

    network.http.pipelining

Normally it says " false " , Double click it so it becomes " true "

Go to the filter bar again and type :
    Code:

    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

    Change it to 8

Go to the filter bar again and type :
    Code:

    network.http.proxy.pipelining

Normally it says " false " , Double click it so it becomes " true "

Go to the filter bar again and type :
    Code:

    network.dns.disableIPv6

Normally it says " false " , Double click it so it becomes " true "

Go to the filter bar again and type :
    Code:

    plugin.expose_full_path

Normally it says " false " , Double click it so it becomes " true "

    3) Now we are gonna make a new integer
    Code:

Right click -> New -> Integer
    Name : nglayout.initialpaint.delay
    Value : 0

    Code:

Right click -> New -> Integer
    Name : content.notify.backoffcount
    Value : 5

    Code:

Right click -> New -> Integer
    Name : ui.submenuDelay
    Value : 0

EDIT : Added a few more lines TY Pjotor

    Thats it !
Firefox will now be 3 - 30 times faster in loading pages
    Hope you guys like it

Speed Up Your Mozilla Firefox Browser

Mozilla is one of the most popular web browser. Mozilla is so much popular among internet users because of its excellent user interface and of course it is totally free of cost. Mozilla is also very fast web browser. But if you internet connection is very much slow then what a web browser can do for you. A simple tweak in settings of Mozilla can increase your internet speed if you are having slow internet connection. Increase in speed will be very much but somewhat effective for slow internet connection.
Just read the steps given below and implement it to speed up your Mozilla Firefox browser to some extent.

Follow the instructions:-

1) Type "about :config" in the address field.

2) Set the value of network.http.pipelining to "true".

3) Set the value of network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to "100".

4) Set the value of network.http.proxy.pipelining to "true"

5) Set the value of nglayout.initialpaint.delay to "0" (not availible in newer versions)

You will be going to experience a little increase in your internet speed with these tweaks in your Mozilla Firefox settings.

Speed Up 50% on Firefox.

Method 1:

Okay, well. To begin with, I will tell you how to increase your bandwidth speed by 20%.
Windows actually reserves 20% of your bandwidth for purposes I will never know. I’ll show you in a few easy steps, how to reclaim it.

Step 1:

Click “Start“, and go on “Run“, and type in “gpedit.msc“. You should see this:

Step 2: You should see a thing called ‘Group Policy’ open.
Step 3: Double-Click on “Computer Configuration”.
Step 4: Double-Click on “Administrative Templates”
Step 5: Double-Click on “Network”
Step 6: Double-Click on “QOS Packet Scheduler”
Step 7: Double-Click on “Limit Reservable Bandwidth”
Step 8: Check the box that says ‘Enabled’ and change Bandwidth Limit (%) to 0.
You got 20% increase on your bandwidth speed! Easy, was it not?

Method 2:

The next way is to modify the amount of requests can accept at once. By changing it to a very high number (30+), you should see a massive rise in speed.
So, to this, I’ll put it in a few easy to follow steps.
Step 1: Load up Mozilla Firefox. Now, in the address bar, type “about:config” (Without the ” ” of course). You should see this:

Step 2: Scroll down the page until you find browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs, and then double-click it. This will set it to “True”.

Step 3: Next, scroll down look for the line that says network.http.pipelining, and double-click this. This will set this to “True”.

Step 4: Now, scroll down and look for network.http.pipelining.maxrequests. Once you have done this, double-click it, and a box will pop up. Change the number to 60.
Close Firefox. You will now experience a 10% to 40% increase in speed.

Method 3:

Finally, the last way to increase your speed, is by using an add-on for Firefox, called FasterFox. It’s increased my speed greatly. Although, my friend, who owns a weak computer, said it doesn’t work well for him, so if your computer is weak, you may want to stop here.
FasterFox basically increases your speed by recycling all the idle bandwidth not doing anything, and makes it load your pages faster.

You can get FasterFox at http://fasterfox.mozdev.org/.

Process to Speed Up Mozilla Firefox

The newer versions of Firefox allocate memory separately for the add-ons so that the browser does not crash if any plugin or add-on stops responding.

The process, plugin-container.exe is responsible for the extra memory allocation. Which may be causing the slow browsing. It is better to disable the plugin-container.exe to free up the extra memory.

All the workaround has been described below in step-by-step.

1. Type about:config at the browser address bar and press “Enter”.

Related article: Speed Up Your Firefox Browser Changing Some Settings In about:config.

2. Click on “I will be careful, I promise”.

3. Type dom.ipc in the filter bar and you will be finding the entries listed below.

4. Now you have to change the Boolean values except the last one. To do that right-click on each entries and click Toggle. This will toggle the value from True to False and vice-versa.

5. Change the vale of dom.ipc.plugins.enabled to ‘false’. You may also toggle all the boolean values to ‘false’. After changing the values as directed above the entries should look like this:

That is, all of the boolean values  will be False.

You are done! Now close Firefox and restart it. Check the task manager by pressing Alt + Ctrl + Del. It should not show the plugin-container.exe process there.

Exit and restart Firefox. Experience a never before surfing and browsing speed in Mozilla Firefox. Boosted by some merely simple tweaks, the increased speed of Firefox clearly helps the user to utilize his time more effectively.

Improve Your Computer’s Performance

Speeding Up Your Computer’s Performance

When a computer is brand new, it works wonderfully well. Over time, though, its performance can slowly begin to worsen. This happens for a number of reasons, but the biggest culprits are things like spyware, adware and other computer threats that are unwittingly downloaded along with other content while online. You don’t have to download thousands of MP3s, movies or other items to experience these problems,  Instead of accepting the situation, there are plenty of techniques and strategies that you can use to make it better – a few of the best ones are outlined below.

Earning help

1: Clean Your Computer’s Windows Registry

The biggest cause of slow, sluggish PC performance is errors and problems within its Windows registry.  other threats usually target the registry, damaging or misplacing important files within it. When it comes to PC cleaning, a daily Windows registry cleaning should be at the top of your list of priorities. However, this should never be done manually – there are too many opportunities for major errors that could seriously damage your PC’s operating system. Instead, invest in a high-quality Windows registry cleanup program and configure it to run.

2: Remove Unneeded Files

Every time you log on to the Internet or otherwise use your computer, temporary files are generated. They are usually only needed once; however, they don’t disappear on their own. Instead, they accumulate over time until they are cluttering up your computer’s file system and affecting its performance. While it’s possible to remove these files One-by-one, it’s much easier and quicker to use a PC cleaning tool that’s designed for the purpose. Try to do so about one time per week too keep your computer humming along with ease.

3: Remove Unneeded Programs

Like many people, many probably download and try out many different programs each month. How many of them do you actually end up using on a regular basis? Chances are, not very many of them. By getting into the habit of uninstalling unused and unneeded programs, you can keep your computer’s file system a lot less cluttered. In turn, your PC’s performance will improve dramatically. You can optimize your computer with this way by using its Remove Programs feature. Its location varies by operating system, but you should be able to find it somewhere in the Control Panel.

4: Empty the Recycle Bin

When you click “delete” on a file or a program, it doesn’t go away for good – not immediately, anyway. Instead, it sits in a kind of purgatory in your computer’s Recycle Bin. As things pile up in the Recycle Bin, your computer can start exhibiting some very annoying problems. If sluggish start ups and frequent crashes are occurring with increasing frequency – and your computer’s recycle bin is very full – go ahead and empty it. From then on, get into the habit of doing so about one time per week. This small but important strategy can make a huge difference.

5: Perform a Disk Defragmentation

Windows isn’t very efficient when it comes to storing files. It actually splits them up, depositing them into whatever spaces are available. The more spaced apart the pieces of a file are, the harder your computer has to work to make them run. The Windows disk defragmentation system tune-up utility works to piece all of those files back together again. The process is a long one, though, and only needs to be done about four times per year. Set it up to run automatically once every three months. By doing so, you’ll be able to keep your computer running in tip top shape.
Protecting your PC only does so much; even the most careful Internet Users in the world unintentionally download malicious software from them to time. By using basic system tune-up tools, cleaning your computer’s Windows registry regularly, performing regular file-cleaning maintenance and otherwise optimizing your PC, you should be able to keep it in like-new condition for a lot longer. .

Thanks every body.........
